I’m a soda junkie. Period. And originally being from Chicago...yes, I still call it pop. A remarkable thing happened today, as one of my all-time favorites FINALLY passed Pepsi in becoming the second-most popular soft drink in America. Which one?? You guessed it....the pride of Texas...Dr. Pepper!!! I’ve been a “Pepper” for as long as I can remember...though it has always taken a slight backseat to my favorite - Cherry Coke. But in any restaurant setting, when ordering a Coke and being aske if Pepsi was ok instead...my default reply has always been “Do you have Dr. Pepper?” So congrats to that amazing blend of 23 flavors...crafted so perfectly for the first time back in 1885 in Waco. In honor of this major accomplishment...I give you my five favorite sodas of all-time.

1. Cherry Coke

2. Dr. Pepper

3. Coke Classic

4. IBC Rootbeer

5. 7 Up
