Thin Lizzy have announced their first new album since 1983′s Thunder and Lightning. “The Acoustic Sessions”, available in January is a new Thin Lizzy album, but the material is not exactly new, the album features new acoustic recordings of songs from the first three Thin Lizzy LPs, including never-before-heard vocals from the late Phil Lynott. I’ve only listened to one song, “Whiskey in the Jar,” I like it. Check it out for yourself below.
