Flowers Foods, which is based in Thomasville, Georgia, and the Food and Drug Administration have announced a recall of some multipack cupcakes due to potential contamination.
The recall affects Tastykake cupcakes sold in seven states and the District of Columbia.
The FDA said the snacks that are being recalled could be contaminated with small fragments of metal mesh wire.
They were sold in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia.

There have been no reports of injury, the FDA said.
The recalled cupcakes should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
