Baby Yoda has already captured the hearts of “Star Wars” fans, now the character, whose actual name is Grogu will be larger than life as he takes flight for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Funko, a company based in Everett, Washington, will have its Grogu collectible figure blown up to mega proportions.
Grogu will become a 41-foot high, 37-foot-wide, 29-foot-long balloon that will be flowing during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Forbes reported.
Funko, Macy’s and Lucasfilm made the announcement today.
Along with the balloon, Funko will also produce shirts, figures and other products to promote the partnership.
The Grogu balloon will be in the parade for at least three years, Forbes reported.
Earlier this week Macy’s announced the parade will be back on its traditional route after the coronavirus pandemic forced the shortening of the annual event. Fans will be allowed to attend, and all parade staff and volunteers will be required to have been fully vaccinated.
