Tuesday night 5-28-19 Sammy Hagar invited Gary Cherone on stage to sing with him and The Circle.
What makes this noteworthy?
A couple things.
First off, this is 3 former members of Van Halen all on stage together.
I actually sat in a studio once with Gary Cherone when he was asked if Eddie Van Halen was a D**k.
Gary said no, but he did go on to say he was one of only 2 singers who were in Van Halen.
The second noteworthy thing about this performance is they’re doing Zeppelin with Jason Bonham.
Of course Jason is the son of Zeppelin’s John Bonham and the guy who held down the drum throne for the band at the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary show and the Celebration Day performance.

Below that are a couple videos and a picture Gary Cherone posted.
Classy move with Sammy Hagar bringing out the guy who replaced him in Van Halen: Gary Cherone.

Cherone sang on the much derided “Van Halen III” and was fired by the VH brothers after just one album.
With Michael Anthony on bass, that is 3 former VH members on the same stage. pic.twitter.com/EdwEKCZxXs
