Two years after her overdose, Demi Lovato reemerges with a new documentary, song & album with the title of Dancing with the Devil...and her fans have her back.
The first two episodes of the YouTube documentary series released on YouTube March 22 and were, as to be expected, extremely emotional.
It discussed events surrounding her overdose in 2018, the events leading up to it and the aftermath. Graphic details including an alleged sexual assault, heart attack and three strokes she suffered are also portrayed throughout the episodes. Through it all, Lovato found help.
“I don’t think people realize how bad it actually was,” Lovato says in the series. “I had three strokes, I had a heart attack. I suffered brain damage from the strokes. I was legally blind when I woke up.”
