Sammy Hagar has released a new song titled “Encore, Thank You, Goodnight,” inspired by a guitar lick that Eddie Van Halen showed him in a dream.

“Encore, Thank You, Goodnight” features guitarist Joe Satriani, bassist and fellow Van Halen alum Michael Anthony and drummer Kenny Aronoff.

Joe Satriani’s guitar gives the song a Van Halen feel and of course Michael Anthony’s backing vocals round out the sound.
