With the news of the passing of actress Shelley Duvall today...it got me thinking about my five favorite horror movies. Shelley played Jack Nicholson’s wife in my all-time favorite Stephen King horror movie “The Shining.” Watching Jack hack apart the door to the bathroom she was hiding in during the famous “Heeeeere’s Johnny!” scene was the scariest thing I had seen up to that point in my childhood. So in honor of Ms Duvall...here are my five favorite horror movies.
