• CVS Pharmacy- CVS Health said customers can request masks at the front of store checkout and signs will be posted to indicate N95 mask availability. For the CVS pharmacies in Target, free N95 masks will be available at the pharmacy counter.
• H-E-B Pharmacy- H-E-B officials said customers can visit their H-E-B Pharmacy and receive up to three N-95 masks for free, while supplies last. For instructions on how to properly put on and take off masks, visit the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services website.
• Sam’s Club
• Walmart
• Walgreens- In a statement from Walgreens, the pharmacy said they will have in-store signage indicating store participation in the federal program. They will also frequently update their N95 mask program store locator list as shipments arrive in-store.

50th Annual St. Louis Society Wild Game Dinner 5pm

It is that time of year again. For The 50th Annual St. Louis Society Wild Game Dinner is just around the corner. This year’s dinner is being held at 5pm on Saturday, March 12th, on the bank of the Medina River at Koenig Park in Castroville. The menu will consist of 11 items including BBQ Hog, fried catfish, chicken & dumplings, rabbit, venison chili, calf fries, and our famous salad bar. During the course of the evening, we will have a raffle, silent auction and live auction (which usually gets quite entertaining).  The dinner will start at 5:00 pm and our auction usually begins around 7:00 pm, the majority of the proceeds from the dinner go to scholarships for our youth. Tickets are $25.00 each and can be purchased by calling Lisa Ellis at 210-6551031.

Blood donations, especially types O negative and positive, are still urgently needed

Health officials said there is not enough blood on hand to treat trauma cases and patients who need emergency surgeries and procedures. The facilities are open during daylight hours. Same-day appointments and walk-in donations are being accepted. Officials said donors can call 210-731-5590 for information or to make an appointment, or they can visit SouthTexasBlood.org.
