This morning, Thursday, September 19th, Mick Box and Uriah Heep posted a video on Youtube announcing their retirement from touring. After 55 years, the rock legends have decided to end touring after one more run, called “The Magician’s Farewell”.
The tour is expected to run the next two or three years, and the band hopes to hit as many places as possible. The plan after this tour is to play one-off shows, festivals, and weekends, but no more extended touring.
Tour dates will be announced starting in February 2025.
If you haven’t caught Uriah Heep live before, you should hit up a show on this last tour, they’re amazing live. Such a great band.
